Automation is at the heart of our business and is responsible for interaction with our customers taking their motor designs and applying our manufacturing processes and equipment. The engagement with customers across the automotive, industrial and off-highway industries requires a broad knowledge of product development and delivery to ensure customer needs are met.
About you
Ideally you will have obtained a degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline with experience operating in an engineering environment. A competent CAD user preferably with Solidworks you will have a good understanding of design and detailing components and assemblies.
Your experience will have provided you with a strong knowledge of design for manufacture, quality systems and standards, manufacturing processes and ERP systems. You will be comfortable leading the design of machined and fabricated components whilst integrating actuation and robotic components into machines managing the process from concept design through to production.
