About the role
If you are looking to be part of a team, implementing your own ideas and taking the responsibility for the development and implementation of control systems across a wide variety of projects in a pressurised environment then this role could be suitable to you.
Automation is at the heart of our business and is responsible for interaction with our customers taking their motor designs and applying our manufacturing processes and equipment. The engagement with customers across the automotive, industrial and off-highway industries requires a broad knowledge of control systems, software integration and delivery to ensure customer needs are met.
Ideally you will have obtained a degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline with experience operating in a machine building / commissioning environment. You will also be comfortable with delivering control and safety systems that comply with national and international standards.
Your experience will have provided you with strong Electrical design and fault finding skills to apply to special built machinery. You will be comfortable working with a range of HMI and PLC systems to aid with the programming and control of various robots.
