About the role
We are looking for an experienced Managing Director to lead the business through our ambitious growth journey. The position would ideally suit an operations professional with experience working within an automation company. This role will be working very closely with our founder/Innovation Director to ensure our Innovation and growth plans are realised as we move forwards. Some key areas of responsibility are below:
- Developing and delivery the strategic plan.
- Implementing a business quality and operating system.
- Building and managing a senior management team that is able to grow with the business.
- Finance performance and control.
- Building upon and managing our business development plan and efforts.
About you
Ideally you will have obtained a degree or equivalent in one of the following: business management, finance and engineering.
The electrification sector we are operating in is very fast paced and requires huge amounts of innovation, you should have experience in this sector and the ability to lead a team with innovation at the forefront of everything you do. Your experience in this sector and the ability to lead a team with innovation at the forefront of everything you do. Your experience should also cover a good mix of working within an established company environment alongside experience working within a young business. A track record of not only growing a company in terms of its revenue but also its headcount and employee development is required.
A good understanding of lean manufacturing methodology and the implementation of robotic production lines is key to success in this role.
You should be a dynamic and driven individual with great people management skills that is able to lead by example whilst building and mentoring a Senior Management team.
