Electrified Completes Strategic Feasibility Study Backed by the Automotive Transformation Fund

Electrified Motors has successfully completed a feasibility study project as part of the UK Government’s Automotive Transformation Fund (ATF), delivered by the Department for Business and Trade in partnership with the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) UK, Innovate UK and others.
The ATF supports the growth of a high-value, electrified automotive supply chain in the UK. As part of this programme, Electrified Motors developed project EARTH (Electrified Automation Motor Range in Traction and Hydraulic systems).
EARTH focused on exploring the expansion of Electrified’s product portfolio to include integrated transmission systems and advanced drivetrain solutions. The feasibility study evaluated the technical and commercial viability of scaling-up production to support the growing demand for electrified powertrain systems in both on-road and off-road applications.
“The EARTH feasibility study marks an important step towards scaling-up our manufacturing capabilities her in the UK. It also signals our commitment to building a robust electrification supply chain that will help accelerate the transition to zero-emission transport, particularly in the off-highway market.”, said Jim Winchester, Managing Director of Electrified Motors.
“Congratulations to Electrified Automation on completing this important feasibility study,” said Emily Wiberg Rasmussen, Project Delivery Lead at the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) UK. “Projects like this are vital to the growth of a sustainable, domestic supply chain, that is focused on developing net-zero technology. We’re pleased to support companies laying the groundwork for the future of clean transport.”
The ATF competition is highly competitive, with funding awarded only to projects demonstrating strong potential to boost UK automotive manufacturing and supply chain resilience.
